Welcome to the online course, “Introduction to Disability.” In this course, you’ll learn about the world of disability. We won’t cover everything, but you’ll learn the basics. We’ll think about the social model of disability, explore the barriers that can make life with a disability challenging, and understand the rights that ensure everyone is treated fairly. We’ll also look at referrals and talk about the benefits of inclusion. This is just a start in understanding the world of disability. Let’s get learning!
